On Wednesday Sept. 23rd at 7 p.m. they will play Central Park's East Meadow, in an evening that also features footage from an upcoming PBS/Ken Burns documentary, "The National Parks: America's Best Idea.

Carole King will appear with Gloria Estefan for an exclusive three-day
engagement at the MGM Grand Theater on Memorial Day weekend.
The idea to feature a "special guest" was conceived when Gloria was
approached
about a return engagement at MGM Grand Theater. At the top of her list
was her
all-time musical inspiration, Carole King, with whom she began a
long-lasting
friendship when they performed together in VH-1's original television
hit DIVAS
LIVE. In the aptly-titled, newly produced "She's Got A Friend", Carole
King and
Estefan will collaborate on selections of hit songs from each artist's
repertoire, and in a solo set, King will perform some of the most
popular songs
from her legendary career. Sharing the stage together is sure to be a
memorable
performance. I (Rudy) had to miss the gig due to an illness. Feeling
much
better now.
